Gwalior–Bengaluru Express Train: Gwalior–Bengaluru Express Train starts its operations from Sunday, June 29. The Gwalior–Bengaluru Express Train was earlier flagged off on Thursday, June 26 by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Scindia at the launch event said the new express train is a big gift for the region as for the first time Gwalior is connected with Bengaluru. "Residents of the Gwalior-Chambal division had to travel to Kota, Bina, and Bhopal to catch a train for Bengaluru, with an additional six to eight hours of journey time for the commuters. Today, the same journey has become easy with the blessings of the Prime Minister and with the help of the Railway Minister. Now, we will be able to reach Bengaluru from Gwalior in 30 hours. This train has a stoppage at Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Bina, Vidisha and Bhopal in the state," ANI quoted Scindia as saying. The new express train connecting Gwalior and Bengaluru will be a weekly service. The 11085 SMVT Bengaluru-Gwalior Express Train will depart from Bengaluru station at 3:50 PM to reach Gwalior Junction on Monday, July 1 at 10:25 am. The 11086 Gwalior-SMVT Bengaluru will commence its operations from Friday, July 4. Gwalior–Bengaluru Express Train: Train schedule The 11085 SMVT Bengaluru-Gwalior Express will leave every Sunday at 3:50 PM to reach Gwalior on Tuesday at 10:25 am.
