News Image
Make these speedy fish burgers as a fun fakeaway for the whole family using frozen breaded fillets and a zingy tartare sauce Use an air-fryer instead of the oven to save energy costs when cooking any kind of frozen chips. Enjoy with your favourite sauces Make these spicy carrot fries as a tasty treat. They're lighter than normal chips, fast to prep and make a brilliant snack or side dish for the whole family Enjoy buffalo-style cauliflower as a veggie main or spicy side dish to accompany your favourite dishes. Full of flavour, we use an air fryer to cook them To make the sauce, chop the gherkin and capers together on a board, then tip into a small bowl with the mayonnaise, lemon juice and a pinch of salt, and mix together. If you have a mini chopper, tip in all the ingredients and whizz together. Can be made up to two days ahead and kept in the fridge. To air-fry the frozen fish fillets, drizzle each side with the oil, then cook at 200C for 10-12 mins, turning halfway through until golden and crisp. Once the fish is cooked, top each fillet with a slice of cheese, if using, and return to the air fryer for 1 min to melt slightly. Toast the buns, then spread the bases with the tartare sauce. Add the lettuce, cheese-topped fish, finish with the bun tops and serve. Recipe from Good Food magazine, July 2025 Subscribe now and get access to exclusive recipes, meal plans, podcasts and more.
